The Redeemed
But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob,
And He who formed you, O Israel:
”Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name;
You are Mine.
Do not fret you, redeemed, because of your own frailty. Do not fret when you stumble in your own weakness. Do not fret when you fail because of your lowly condition.
Only give praise to the One by Whose redeeming hand you now live, move, and have meaning. For while Christ is the Judge and Destroyer of the strong and haughty, Christ is the Justifier and Perfecter of the weak and lowly. He has redeemed your souls from death, and now your lives see and shine His marvelous Light (Job 33:28 [ESV]; 1 Peter 2:9 [ESV]).
He revealed this Truth through tattered quills held in hands of clay, so as to reveal that salvation and Christ-like perfection come not by your might, nor by your power, but by His Spirit alone! (Zechariah 4:6 [ESV]).
Oh, what is redeemed man without his Christ? What is redeemed man without his Savior? What is redeemed man without his Perfecter? And what is the frail, and broken without his Sovereign King? Dust of the earth, mere worm, no more glory has he! (Job 25:2-6 [ESV]).
But with his Christ, his Savior and Perfecter, man is made anew by God to image the Angel of His Presence, His Anointed One, before all creation both seen and unseen. (Isaiah 63:9 [NKJV]; Jude 1:5 [ESV]). And man is redeemed by Christ to serve and adore his Almighty King! (Galatians 2:20 [ESV]).
No angel, no principality, no authority of the heavenly realms can image Christ like the Redeemed. No throne, no ruler, no dominion in the heavenly places can bear the name “Redeemed.” Only in eternal awe, either in judgement or praise, can those spiritual powers be, as they behold His holy ones, the Redeemed.
Men of clay, earthen vessels re-fired for glory, pursue with all ardor your Holy Christ, to know and image your Redeemer King. For you are Christ’s. He calls you by name:
“My Chosen, My Meek, My Holy Ones, My Redeemed!”
